Vibroblades are a common tool, a knife, dagger, or sword of varying length with a high frequency vibration mechanism that allows for it to cut through materials far more easily than a conventional blade.

Many lower tech versions as well as models made for concealment, lack an internal power source, and must be supplied via a plug in the bottom from a portable generator or battery.
