The UrbanMech was designed to answer the call for a true city fighting 'Mech for the Star League. Orguss Industries went with a cheap, well armed platform with a compact profile for ease of maneuver in tight Star League cities and other difficult urban environments.

The result is a squat, broad bodied machine with stubby arms to minimize hindrance in narrow city streets. It presents a difficult target, while optimizing its own limited mobility with Jump Jets to surmount buildings and obstacles. This would serve it well in the many policing actions and urban engagements it would be used in for centuries, making it a favorite amongst militias and defensive units across the Inner Sphere.
